How direct thermal labels and direct thermal printing work?
Direct thermal labels is not heat resistant, so it's sensitive to heat. The printhead of direct thermal label printers directly contact with the label. After turn on the direct thermal label printer, the printhead will heat up. The labels transfer over the printhead and turns black. The text or icon will form through this process.
